Nomination for the Great 100 Award
Helena Flowers, Managing Director of Andel Plastics has recently been nominated in the Great 100 Awards. This is the inaugural year for the awards, ran by the Made in Group, of which Andel are proud Made in the Midlands members.

Under her direction, Andel Plastics continues to lead by example, most recently investing in their first all-electric Arburg Machine. Reinforcing their dedication to a cleaner, more sustainable future for British Manufacturing.
This recognition comes at a particularly special time, as Andel Plastics celebrates its 50th anniversary. A remarkable milestone for a company operating in a critical UK sector. If we are to protect our existing industry and increase re-shoring, businesses like Andel play a vital role in maintaining the UK’s industrial capability, and it essential we acknowledge and celebrate their contribution.
When asked about her nomination, Helena Flowers the second generation owner of Andel Plastics, said “it was a great surprise to see my nomination announced and a great way to end what has been an important year for us to reach 50 years in business. I have a great solid team behind me and I think they can be proud of what we have achieved together.”
The award ceremony takes place in London on the 4th December, we wish Helena and her team at Andel good luck in bringing the award back to Birmingham.
